CBCT® Compassion Training for Nurses and Other Providers

The Center is proud to collaborate with the Emory Nursing Experience at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing to offer CBCT® for practicing nurses and other providers.  

CNE and CEU credits available at successful completion of the course.

Summer 2022

Dates:

Online facilitated workshop sessions, one hour per week for 8 weeks, July 7 – August 31, 2022, noon to 1 pm Eastern.

Course also includes meditation practices and discussion after those dates.

Details:

Part One - Online

Six hours of self-guided elements assigned from September 1 to October 15.

Part Two – In-Person Workshop*

Saturday, September 17, 2022

Registration deadline:  September 5, 2022

Location:  This workshop will be held at Emory University.

Part Three – Online and Zoom Call Sessions

Three 45-minute Zoom sessions for small group discussions scheduled from September 17 to October 15.

All work to be completed within one month after the in-person workshop.

 

*Note:  Covid-19 restrictions will be monitored, and the workshop may be moved to a virtual platform.  All registrants will be notified in advance.

This course requires a minimum of eight (8) participants to be registered by the stated deadline.  If enrollment is not reached, any registered student will be notified of cancellation by email and their registration fee can be refunded or transferred to the next CBCT® Compassion Training for Nurses and Other Providers’ course offering.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

No refunds will be issued within 7 days of the start of the course.  If registration is cancelled prior to that time, your fee will be refunded less a $50 administrative fee.  No registration is guaranteed until payment is received.

Emory Nursing Professional Development Center (ENPDC) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.  Attendees to this CNE activity will be awarded contact hours by ENPDC.  No conflict of interest has been found with the speaker for this CNE activity nor with the members of the planning committee.
